Not through a slow warm-up.
Not by waiting for “someday” or “next month.”
And not by regulating yourself into stillness.
Because you’ve already tried that.
You’ve been taught to “regulate your nervous system” into action ...
calming your body into movement,
waiting for “safety” to arrive first,
hoping regulation would eventually get you to take action.
For a lot of women, it doesn’t.
Because regulation isn’t enough.
On its own, it can actually keep you shut down.
Calm.
Controlled.
Contracted.
Playing small to stay safe.
Disconnected from your assignment.
Regulating yourself can start to kill your calling
if safety becomes the goal instead of service.
The truth is:
You are never going to feel safe enough to be visible.
Visibility doesn’t come from safety.
It comes from mission.
